Our Private Training Program is Tailored to meet your training goals and set your dog up for long-term success. We Pride ourselves on being results-based Dog Training meaning we work together to develop a comprehensive plan to address all your concerns with obedience or other unwanted behaviors and work together until your goals become your new reality.
In our Private Lessons Program we use the following commands as a gateway to a better state of mind and help our dogs understand the rules in a way that makes sense:
Relaxed Heel
A loose-leash walk is in your near future! Most dogs can walk calmly next to you and past a variety of distractions in just one lesson
Place/Down
Learning how to stay in one spot until released helps dogs work on impulse control and builds confidence while re-assigning their job from official alerter of every noise ever to dog bed warmer and quiet companion
Sit
Sitting before walking through doorways, crossing the street and whenever you stop the walk is a wonderful way to help our dogs feel grounded and safe and look to their humans for direction.
Out
Releasing a ball/food/treat on command is a great skill to keep everyone safe, prevent and solve resource guarding and make playing fetch a whole lot more fun
Recall
Hiking and Off-Leash Adventures are about to get a whole lot more fun! Dogs are meant to be dogs, to include running off-leash, exploring nature and playing with other dogs they know and trust. Learn how to teach your dog to come when called, the first time, every time.
Crate Training
Even if your dog respects your home when left unattended, being calm in the crate is still a valuable skill for a dog to learn in order to build trust and leadership between dog and human. Bonus: If your dog ever has to be crated at the vet, their first experience with the crate won’t be when they don’t feel good.
By using body pressure, crystal clear, simple instruction, constructive feedback, consistency and lots of practice, you will feel more empowered interacting with your dog and your dog will trust and respect you in ways they didn’t before training. This is an opportunity to push the reset button on your relationship with your dog, adopt new, meaningful habits and have more fun together along the way. We will work together as a team until everyone, including the dog understands the new rules and over time, all the new freedom that comes along with them.
